The Forward Reach RMB Mower series from Bush Hog is available in two models ideal for more demanding agricultural, roadside maintenance and municipality use. Built to last from high grade DOMEX steel, both the RMB1880F and RMB2080F models pack a powerful combination of cutting capacity and reach into a rear mounted boom mower designed to handle extensive hedge cutting and verge-mowing duties. With Variable Forward Reach capabilities, the operator can now maneuver the mower head from behind the tractor wheel to alongside the cab for improved visibility, functionality and efficiency. For use with tractors equipped with cabs, weighing a minimum of 9,920 lb. and 80 HP.
Four cutter head options are available for the Forward Reach RMB mowers. Three flail head options with a 1”- 1-1/2” cutting capacity. Each come standard with adjustable front guard and flap kits to protect from thrown objects, as well as a built-in wire trap feature to help keep loose wires from becoming entangled in the rotor. The optional rotary cutter head unit offers powerful 4” cutting capacity in a 47” working width.
Both RMB1880F and RMB2080F models come equipped with the Evolution Control system, a more user friendly and intuitive setup operators will appreciate.
An RMB mower allows the operator to reach from 18’ to 20” with either a flail or rotary cutter head attachment.
Forward Reach capability makes it possible to bring the cutter head from behind the tractor wheel up alongside the cab for greater visibility and ease of use.
Extended reach also means being able to mow down banks, around, and over obstacles like guard rails or fences thanks to the versatility of a boom mower.
