Bush Hog releases new heavy-duty rotary cutters

Bush Hog, based in Selma, Alabama, announces the release of the 4110 and 4115. With these two new heavy-duty flex-wing models, Bush Hog aims to enhance and simplify the rotary cutter product line offered to its customer base of right-of-way contractors and large landowners. The 4110 and 4115 are an evolution of the 2810, 2815, 3810, and 3815 product lines, all of which have been popular choices of farmers and contractors seeking governmental bids.

“The 4110 and 4115 are truly a superior version of our 2815 and 3815 flex-wing rotary cutters,” says Rob Jarman, Bush Hog Product Manager. “The 2815 and 3815 have been two of our most popular models during their ten-year run, but we knew we could make an even better product. To do that we mined a decade’s worth of customer feedback to look for needed improvements from a customer’s perspective.”

This attention to detail has resulted in a product built for tough cutting conditions. The 4110 and 4115 flex-wing rotary cutters are designed to handle rugged and sloped terrain. The 4110 and 4115 include easy maintenance and performance enhancing features like quick blade changes with hardened hex-head bolts and bushings, high-strength structural tube axle arms, redesigned axle suspension, reinforced tongue and hitch, and durable cast iron skids for improved wear resistance. The 4110 is made especially for right-of-way contract mowers who may be limited by regulations requiring that cutters cannot obstruct the roadway. Cutting widths are 10’ to 15’ depending on the model. Both models require at least 60 PTO HP.
